Experience Sri Lanka’s prime wildlife season when blue whales migrate past the southern coast and herds of wild elephants gather around Udawalawe National Park’s watering holes.

OPTION 1: BLUE WHALE MIGRATION

Depart from Mirissa Harbor at dawn for your whale watching expedition. These waters serve as a crucial migratory route for blue and sperm whales traveling between feeding grounds. Expert naturalist guides accompany each journey, identifying species and interpreting behavior as these magnificent creatures surface throughout the morning.

Private whale watching boat off the Mirissa coast.
Dawn departure (approximately 5 AM–12 PM, ~5 hours total).

OPTION 2: UDAWALAWE
NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

Journey to Udawalawe National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most reliable locations for wild elephant viewing with over 500 individuals calling the park home. Your safari includes lunch and a visit to the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned calves are rehabilitated before returning to the wild. Guests can sponsor a calf, directly supporting this vital conservation program.

Full-day safari at Udawalawe National Park, home to over 500 wild elephants.
Visit to Elephant Transit Home with option to sponsor a rescued elephant.
Private safari vehicle with expert naturalist guide.

ANDAMAN SEA AQUATIC ADVENTURE

Peak season in the Andaman Sea runs from January through March, when the northeast monsoon brings the year’s finest conditions. The seas become remarkably tranquil, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and island hopping. Underwater visibility reaches its annual peak, offering crystal-clear views of coral reefs and marine life.

OPTION 1: SCUBA DIVING VIBRANT REEFS

Explore the underwater world where visibility exceeds 30 meters and water temperatures hover around 28°C. Dive local sites around Koh Yao Noi and Ao Nang Krabi, as well as Shark Point and the reefs around Koh Phi Phi. These vibrant sites reveal hawksbill and green sea turtles, leopard sharks, schools of barracuda, and thriving coral gardens sheltering thousands of reef fish.

Includes:

Two dives with private long-tail boat (maximum 4 divers, up to 2 additional snorkelers welcome).
Professional dive master.
All diving equipment.
Gourmet snacks and refreshments.
5-hour experience including transport.

Island hop through Phang Nga Bay’s protected islands, snorkeling in sheltered coves where sea turtles, parrotfish, angelfish, and clownfish thrive in shallow waters. Swim into hidden lagoons surrounded by majestic limestone karsts, with a fully flexible itinerary that adjusts to your interests.
