ÀNI Dominican Republic Travel Restrictions

The Dominican Republic is Open for Travel

Current details on Entry Requirements and Protocols

For those looking to escape to the Caribbean, the DR has been one of the most open countries for visitors in the region  –  continuously since July last summer.

ÀNI Dominican Republic is the perfect option for groups of friends looking to reconnect responsibly as the world opens up to travel.  With a resort and staff all to yourselves, there is no sharing spaces, facilities, or amenities with others.  From huge private pool decks, exhilarating water slides, and a private 2-treatment room spa and gym – they are all for your friends and family alone.

With a balanced approach to safety protocols, including regular testing of our team, the ÀNI Dominican Republic Private Resort has hosted groups nearly non-stop since our re-opening including multi-generational reunions, birthday celebrations, Christmas, New Years and Passover Holidays, and even served as the set for major Hollywood production (Stay Tuned for more details on that in the future).

Let the team at ÀNI Dominican Republic create an amazing experience for your friends and families.  Come celebrate a missed milestone or simply the chance to be together once again.

ÀNI requests that all visitors provide either a negative covid test prior to arrival or proof of vaccination, as a means to minimize the chances of any disruption to our guests stay or their return home after.

The resort team follows strict protocols for cleaning and regular tests our team on property.  As an added layer of safety for our team and guests, all staff at the resort will be fully vaccinated by mid-June 2021.

ÀNI & The Dominican Republic Entry Requirements and Protocols During Covid

While there are no testing requirements for entry to the Dominican Republic, ÀNI requests all guests to provide either proof of vaccination or a negative covid test prior to arrival to ensure both smooth arrival and departure.

Antigen testing required for return travel is offered at the resort prior to departure at a cost of $50 per guest.

On arrival to the Dominican Republic, travelers are checked for symptoms/temperature and may be randomly tested for Covid

On property, there are no general masking or distancing requirements for our guests, but general masking and distancing protocols are observed by our guests.

For unvaccinated visitors, we do request mask be worn during more direct/close contact services such as massage treatments and cooking classes.  This request is disregarded for vaccinated visitors.

A strict set of protocols is in place for regular cleaning at the resort.  Staff are regularly tested, as are any outside vendors and service providers.  All staff will be fully vaccinated by middle of June 2021.

As an added safety measure, when circumstances on the ground warrant, or on guests’ request, the ÀNI team is isolated on resort, with the “bubble” of the property with our guests.
