ANGUILLA REOPENING

ANGUILLA PHASED PLAN TOWARDS FULL REOPENING ANNOUNCED

The Island of Anguilla, and ÀNI Anguilla, opened for visitors on November 1, 2020 with a “Tourist Bubble” protocol that included certain restriction for visitors for their first 10-14 days on island.

Details for the protocols are listed below, but through this program, ÀNI Anguilla, through April, has hosted over 10 sets of guests including Multi-Gen Reunions, Multi-Family Vacations, Corporate Retreats, and Work/Study Remote Escapes – and groups ranging in size from 10 to 25 guests staying 1 to 6 weeks.

The protocols provided a great balance between protecting our guests, the staff and the community while still allowing us to provide great Anguilla experiences including amazing dining, adventure and entertainment on and off property.

The government has now released the next two phases of its re-opening plan. Starting on July 1st 2021, the government will remove on island “Bubble” restrictions – meaning guests can enjoy all Anguilla has to offer from their first day of arrival.  While the application process will still be in effect, only those having been fully vaccinated no less that 3 weeks prior to arrival will be admitted to the island.  In conjunction with this program, all hospitality workers, including those at ÀNI Anguilla, will have been full vaccinated by July 1st

For the final phase of opening, now slated for October 1st, 2021, the entry application process will be removed and any requirements for testing and vaccination that may still be in effect will be handled on arrival.

Further details on the protocols/procedures for each of the phases, as currently communicated by the Anguilla Government, are listed below.
